Conscious Leadership

Conscious Leadership is a wonderful opportunity for growth that has impacted both my ministry and my personal life in challenging and life-giving ways. The program has given me spiritual engagement tools for fleshing out and articulating a vision in ways that can be received by others.

Rev. Rachel Parrott

Jesus calls us to be Salt and Light in a world that is constantly in need of seasoning and brightness. Being Salt and Light is both easier and more elusive than the Gospels would suggest. Even as the Church emerges into its post-pandemic and post-disaffiliation phase, it struggles to connect with the people and world it is called to serve. A new kind of leadership is required.

It now has an added dimension: consciousness. Conscious Leadership is the capacity to master your mindset in relationship to others, tap into your soul’s spiritual intelligence, and employ the courage of imagination to envision and bring new realities to life. Whether that be birthing a new ministry, completing a book manuscript, leading a high-functioning team, or a healing an important relationship.  Conscious Leadership re-orients you from being reactive to proactive.  And from experiencing life as a set, fixed reality to life as a dance and co-creation. Conscious Leadership is the capacity to engage life fully—without resistance, avoidance, or self-imposed limitations. It is stepping into the being of Salt and of Light.

Throughout this eight to ten month experience of personal and professional expansion, you will focus on three essential components of Conscious Leadership: emotional, spiritual, and visionary intelligence. Together with a community of like-minded spiritual entrepreneurs, ministry practitioners, and hands-on difference makers, you will practice mastering your mindset, awakening your spirituality, and becoming an intentional visionary. As a result, you experience the power of  Jesus’ call of being Salt and Light.

In Person Gatherings

The Conscious Leadership Community gathers in person three times over the course of 8-10 months for three-day intensives. Part retreat, part workshop, these gatherings give you the time and space to deeply explore the material at hand.

Online Exploration Sessions

The Conscious Leadership Community also gathers online twice after each in person gathering. During these 90 minute sessions, the community continues its journey of exploration together.

Through Conscious Leadership I have been challenged to get outside of my comfort zone. As a conscious leader, I can now be responsible for my own emotions. And be aware of the mindsets of others. I have grown spiritually and emotionally, and I am better equipped to lead my congregation. Plus, I love the combination of DiSC® and spirituality.

Rev. Ashley Green-Young

Conscious Leadership has been a wonderful opportunity to be with other leaders and to watch our DiSC® styles in action. Leadership can’t be done in isolation.

Knowing the leadership styles of others helps to build a team of leaders with different styles.

Rev. Diandra Magdalene

I love the pacing of Conscious Leadership: it is contemplative, active, and fun! Through the program of Conscious Leadership, I now have concrete tools and pictures to help me relate with individuals in my congregation. Most of all, I have gotten to explore my own mindset—a vital part of ministry that we aren’t often given space to discuss.
